We filmed at Brian's today and got great footage of this cool path in his back yard.  Unfortunatly, it must be re-done because it didn't turn out.  Ashley was not here; it was just Gabi, Mary, Brain, and myself.  But besides that, the other scenes we did were good and we even got a fight scene done today. 

 

 

Well, there honestly isn't much to say, since I wasn't there (neither was Ashley) to film today.  I know Brian (actor who plays Teren) drove them to film a scene at the lake, but I wasn't there, so honestly couldn't tell you much more!

 

 

Filming today was fun...except Ashley (Leyra) had to keep laughing in front of the camera.  What is sooo funny?  There is nothing funny and when the camera goes on -and she's in its veiw- she just has to laugh.  She thought it was sooo dang funny at the scene were I have to hold a knife to her throat.  Um, excuse me, what the heck is funny about that?  We had to end up using Gabi for her part, and then Ashley looked at the camera in the background!!!  And this other scene we did that was kind of improv., she just had to laugh.   So we did it again, and she kept laughing!  We had to take her out of the scene.  Well, I hope she can take acting a little more serious next time.

 

 

Okay, so it has been well over six months since we started filming.  Gabi (Catrina) finished revising the Lerites 2 script about a week ago, so it is much better and makes much more scence.  Anyway, I'm sure you are wondering why we waiting for over six months to film again.  Well, the truth is, what we had thought was "sooo" good was actually really bad.  We all wanted to get around to remaking it, but never had time since we were all so busy with school.  But now we're all done with school (for now, at least) and have a summer break of a little over two months before we go back again.  Gabi got the script done just at the perfect time for us to start filming.

Turns out we have someone to replace Cody S (Makel) who had replaced Chelsea Wilkes (the old Makara)... Mary Johanson!  She is to play the new, returned Makara!  So far in the script, we have no mention of how she returned or what happened to Makara's supposed "brother" Makel, but I asked Gabi about it and she said we'll mention it in the opening credits. 

Well, yesterday was our first day of filming the "real" version.  It was fun, but just before filming, there were these two pesky children who were spying on us while the girls (Gabi  "Catrina"  and  Ashley  "Leyra")  did their hair and makeup and I ate Chinese food.  We were all siting at a bench at the park by the woods minding out own buisness when I look over and there were two boys (about 6th grade) very uncasually looking at us.  It was very obvious, and I would shout things to them, and they'd just look away as if they were never looking at us at all.  Then they tried making fun of us, saying things like, "You don't need to braid her hair!  She's already ugly enough!" and other stupid things like that.  Of course, we got in a fun argument with them and I threw a peice of sweet & sour chicken at them.  It was amusing.  Then we tried to film but were abrubtly interupted by a group of about ten guys on lawn mowers, three on giant machines (one almost hit Gabi!) and two with weed-wackers (guess it was the comunity service-sentenced prisoners going to the weekly work...lol...just kidding.)  

Anyway, then we went to my house to film since filming with guys on lawnmowers in the background plus that really annoying noise would NOT be good.  However, Gabi said we got a glimpse of a person in the background shooting by on a lawnmower!  We'll add it to the bloopers, of which there will be plenty of those.

Today, we also filmed at my house, and everything went well.  The only thing that might be bad so far is the fact that there will be major editing to do with all the mess-ups and stuff that is out of order.

Anyway, I think I've typed enough on this thing for one day, so I'll write next time we film (most-likely tommarow).  Also, we'll be able to film more this summer because no longer do we need parents to haul us around!  There is a new bikepath which we can easily reach eachothers houses with on our bikes, so we're all good.  Well, see you soon. 

 

 

 

Hello, Jordan...or...Rafe, I guess, here.  Filming was good yesterday, and a lot of fun.  We got only one page done, but its taking longer since we are using more camera angels, which makes it look MUCH better.  Since it was only Gabi (Catrina),  Ashley (Leyra), and myself, Jordan (Rafe) we had to play a few different characters, but it turned out well.  Ashley played Lexaria, but you didn't see her face so that worked well, Gabi played Airyana, but she wore a hat and glasses and had an accent so you couldn't tell.  Then for Pirna, I had to wear a green wig, but you couldn't see my face and I used an accent, so that worked well, too.  We all have more improved costumes and everything is better.  I'm not sure when we can film again...Hopefully, we will be able to this weekend, but we're not sure.  Well, I'll write next time we film.
